Okay, I admit it...I really enjoy drinking coffee! I am an avid tea drinker, too, but I have to have coffee in the morning. And, it has nothing to do with the caffeine. I thought so at one time, but my third child would not let me drink coffee, so I had to go without REAL coffee for 9 months. I did it, but I was NOT happy! I blame my husband for my coffee addiction - he REALLY needs it - LOL!
I started thinking about coffee a few days ago, and I also though about my favorite snack - coffee and a cookie (preferrably biscotti of some kind). So, what better inspiration for a kit?!
I have put together Coffee and A Cookie for Deco-Pages, and it should be in the store tommorrow. Here is a preview:
This is a pretty large kit. I could not fit it all in the preview. It has 19 papers, 2 alphas, and 70 elements! It will be on sale for 20% OFF for the first week.
Many thanks to Tandika Star of DigiscrapDesigner, Roberta D'Achille, Stacy Carlson and Atomic Cupcake for great actions used to make this kit!
And, of course, I have a matching freebie for you. Please do not redistribute the files in any way or share the direct link. Just send your friends on over to my blog for download information.
Share some love so I know if you like it!
This will only be available for a limited time, so grab it soon!
This freebie has been retired.

Happy Friday!
It's Friday...and time for another freebie!
But, it is also time for a ramble.
I have been creating lots of things lately...so much that I am getting a bit too much to see how to organize it all into kits - LOL! I start on something, and it just takes off and changes into something else. So, I think, okay, that's two kits out of that now. I had made myself a kit guideline list a couple of weeks ago to help me keep my kits to a resonable size. So far, I have ignored it completely! I hope to go through all the items I have going (about 5 kits right now) and put them into order so I can get them into the store!
I had a few things left over when I made the Club Deco December kit, and I really liked them, so I added a few more things and created this kit. It is a wonderful kit for heritage or masculine layouts or really just about anything. You can see that I used a picture my husband took of this gorgeous abbey in Belgium.

If you are a Club Deco member, you can get this as a freebie quick page for a short time.
And now...the FREEBIE!
These are more items that coordinate with my Kiss Me Kate kits at Digiscrap Boutique. I have the full kit (also available in separate paper and alpha/element packs), an add-on kit, and a quick page album! You'll have tons of fun making Valentine pages or great layouts of your little girl!

New Kits at Digiscrap Boutique!
These are my latest kits at Digiscrap Boutique. Kiss Me Kate is full of lots of fun pink and purple items for great Valentine and feminine pages. I also have an add-on kit and a quick page album! You can find out all the details HERE.
My weekly freebies match all three of these kits, but the items in the freebies are not in the kits. However, once all of the freebies have been retired, they will be available in the store in a special mini-kit! So, if you miss one, no problem!
I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be posting some previews of upcoming kits later this weekend!

Blustery Day
WOW! Yesterday was certainly an interesting one weather-wise. Here in Germany, officials were requesting that people stay off the roads because of high winds...winds that could be as high as 100 MPH! Now, I know there are places where that is not much, but here, it is definitely something. And, of course, it's not just the wind. It is raining, too! Wearing a coat or carrying an umbrella is really not much help when the rain is literally coming at you sideways! And, I don't think they have invented an umbrella that can withstand a good cough - never mind a really strong wind. I stopped using them years ago simply because my hands are always to full with my school bag, lmy unchbox, my computer bag, a purse or something. I just use a sturdy raincoat with a hood. I don't even buy coats or jackets without a hood anymore. It rains too often here for me to remember to take an umbrella - even if I did still use one.
Okay, now that I have actually bored you to tears - LOL - I think you have earned your gift this week! These are some more lovelies from my upcoming Kiss Me Kate Kit that I just couldn't fit into it.
Everything is in pink this week. I really love this gingham (props to Tandika Star at Digiscrap Designer!). I am also using it in another kit I'm working on...Summer Smile. Both of these kits should be in the store at Digiscrap Boutique within the week (I hope this weekend). And, thanks to Atomic Cupcake for the effects used for the block!
Thank you for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.
I'm leaving the previous one up for about 10 more hours, so grab it while you can.
Please leave a comment! And, as always, do not redistribute the files or the direct link in any way. You may share this by sharing the blog link so others can come here for download instructions - Thanks!

She made the above ad with her Gentle Romance Kit.

This is my latest kit at Digiscrap Boutique.
You can see it HERE.
I call it Winter Jammies. Every year, I get wonderful flannel jammies for the holidays. Jammies are a little weakness of mine. I love them!
And, this year one of the nice sets I received has these colors and cool snowflakes. So, I decided to make a matching scrapbook kit!
Many thanks to Tandika Star and Atomic Cupcake for PS/PSE effects and actions!
I hope to have a freebie up for you soon!

Madness!
So much to tell you!
First, tonight at 7 PM Pt/10 PM ET in the Digiscrap Boutique chat room there will be a Monday Designer Madness chat with lots of freebies and fun! You will get to meet the designers of DSB and get some samples from their kits and other good stuff!
I will have this freebie to give away:
So come to the chat if you would like to have this.
I have some new kits in the DSB store:
Thornfield is full of masculine papers and elements. I named it for the house owned by Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. It is the first in a series of kits named after the houses in my favorite books. You can see it HERE.
Snow Baby is my newest kit. It is so versatile. Of course, it is great for snow pictures and the pastel colors are great for any baby layouts. But, it also has enough hearts for some Valentine pages. This is a kit you can use for months!
You can see it HERE.
And now for the FREEBIE!
This is a quick page I made from some of the items in my Snow Baby kit. The doodle is not included it the kit. It is a commercial item I purchased from Bannerwoman.
Please do not redistribute this file in any way or share the direct link. Just send your friends here to get the download information. Thanks!

New Kits!
I have some new kits available at Digiscrap Boutique!
The first is from a new series I am working on. I majored in English in college, so I have a soft spot for British Literature, especially the classics. So, I have started a series of kits named after homes in some of my favorite books. The first kit is called Thornfield [from Jane Eyre (also one of my favorite A&E movies - LOL)]. Thornfield is the home Jane travels to and where her life takes many a twist and turn (I won't spoil the book for you if you haven't read it).
I made this kit a masculine one since Thornfield is owned by Mr. Rochester. I didn't really stay with the Victorian period style, though. I just let things go, and this is the finished kit:
You can can see more detailed photos and kit information here:
I also have some paper packs. I call them Petal Packs (rose petals - RoseMadeDesigns, get it? LOL). I have a pastel and a dark option, and I plan to work on a brights version, plus some others. So, if you like to use solid papers, but hate the flat look the paint tool gives you, these papers can help! The papers have a slight texture so they will stand out on your page, but they won't overwhelm it.
Here are the pastels:
You can see it in the store here:
Here is the dark set:
You can see it in the store here:
I hope to have some more things done very soon. I have three more paper packs almost ready and four kits that I am almost finished with.
Enjoy tomorrow! The kids go back to school, and I go back to work on Monday (sigh).

Good News!
Well, I'm not sure if I am a glutton for punishment, or if I just really like designing. But, as of today, I am now designing for digiscrapBoutique! They are having a grand-opening tomorrow, and little ol' me has so much work to do to get ready! So, there won't be a new freebie for a bit. I'm sorry!
I am hoping to have something in the store this weekend, so please stop by and check it out. I know it will be a lot of fun!
And, don't worry, I am still designing at Deco-Pages, too! I have new kits coming to the store very soon! I hope to get them up this weekend, as well.
Did you see my new header image? I finally figured out how to do that! Now, if I can just figure out how to make the rest of it pretty - LOL!
Have a great weekend!
