NEW Freebie Soft Quick Page 01!

I have a new freebie for you today!
I made some quick pages from my Soft Page Kit, and I thought they would make great freebies.

Here is the first quick page.  I think the colors would work for girl or summer pages. {Don't worry the next one has colors that are perfect for boy pages, and I'll post it in a few days.}

This freebie has expired, but a new one will be posted soon!

Please do not share this link, but send folks to my blog to download this personal use only quick page gift. Thanks!

Here is the Soft Page Kit I used for the quick page.  This kit is HUGE!  There are 145 element pieces and 18 papers (the preview only shows a sample of the full kit).

And, don't let the baby theme scare you!  There are so many kinds of pages you can create with this kit.

Enjoy the day!

One Contest - Two Freebies!

I have entered another design contest!
I wasn't sure that I wanted to, but a few people convinced me to go ahead.
I am part of the Just For The Scrap Of It So You Think You Can Design Contest.
Round One's challenge was to use the given color palette and create a heritage kit.

This is my entry named Timeless Love. I'm fairly pleased with it.

There are loads of freebie heritage kits, including mine, to download.
Please leave comments for the contestants and vote for your favorite.
VOTING HAS CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
You have to register at Just For The Scrap Of It, but everyone there is just lovely, and I'm sure you will want to remain an active member once you see all the great challenges and fun!

To celebrate my dive back into design contests, I created a matching mini kit.
It uses the same color palette. It has 4 papers, a heart charm, 2 ribbons, 2 bows and a gold brad.
I'm not done yet! I also made a matching quick page!

Thanks for your interest, but these freebies have been retired.

Heritage Wins!

Thanks for all the votes. It looks like I'll be making a Heritage kit for my blog readers! I'll have some color schemes posted soon for you to vote on. But, to tide you over...

I have two new quick page sets at Deco-Pages! They are vintage in feel, but they could be modern, too. They are clean and simple - and just $2.50 per set!

Set 1 is blue and green with matching vellum journal boxes and silver fasteners so you can add some quotes or whatever.

Set 2 is done in pink and cream with matching vellum journal boxes and gold fasteners.

And, here's a layout example using Set 1. This is my DH's grandfather, grandmother and aunt in the 1940's. The font is LDJ Aunt Elizabeth. I resized the brads from the kit.
I don't post layouts on here much, do I? Well, I am working on a slide show. I will get it up one day - LOL! To be honest, I think I have time to scrap one page for every 10 kits I do...if I scrap that often. That's really sad - LOL.

Have a great day!

Just Rambling,

Marcee
